What the hell is going on with this stupid, puny rotten world. The lights burn out and what you get is a blob.īut when that blob appears on the thumbnail on the taskbar I think very suspiciously, especially when the main PowerDVD 19 window in front of the projector is moved to my laptop display along with the Blob. Unlike phosphor burn-in, what happens with blobs is they burn through the LED bank that sits behind the LCD filter. Now, this is amazing and I call it 'attack of the Blob'. This is not CyberLinks fault, they obviously do know that the program works. Just play around with the settings and just realise as you see that the program frames worming around each other. There is a army of morons who are jabbing away on there keyboards looking, looking and looking. I say it corrects itself when it may seem that this is apparent it is genuinely a war between C++ programmers some who know what they are doing and the rest morons who no doubt use such techniques such as overloading to hide the suspicious code.ĭon’t worry you cheap skates this is fun and PowerDVD 19 is still better that what you can manage and when you are given the sack, loose your jobs and money don't cry.Īpart from the program and the news that 3D support has been dropped just know that for this version it works. Insurmountable errors that would be interpreted as serious crashes are actually no different to spelling mistakes made in a word processor the mistakes do not end up compromising your document but are simply corrected.įunny really, although the interfering is annoying, the left and right frame sync in the SBS output apart from the silly effect of floating around each other does actually correct itself. I had a much earlier version of PowerDVD which never really failed.

Then it seemed that there were two sides to programming teams, one side that knows what they are doing and the other simply interfering and now it seems that software operation has reached rock bottom. There was a time when software behaved as it should, that is follow the description. Odeon, Vue to name two have almost abbanded 3D makes you wonder- another why.
So it is shame these problems exist and apart from PowerDVD 19 support for surround sound and CyberLinks announcement to drop TrueTheater support - why? Is this becoming an obbsession? Is TrueTheater, along with shutter glasses and DLP 3D projector making movies - too real? If I set the aspect ratio to pan-and-scan I get an SBS frame and my shutter glasses synchronise fine but nevertheless the ends of the frame get cropped.

If a movie has a aspect ratio of 16:9 the ends of the frame become cropped. The problem I have is the size of the movie on the screen and its natural aspect ratio. That includes videos on your PC, from Youtube and anything else. What I wanted it for was to render 3D BlueRay movies but found out that PowerDVD can handle 3D on any DVD as it converts the 2D in a movie to 3D SBS. I am looking for a live SBS 3D rendering piece of software and found PowerDVD 19.
